Information Security Consultant (CLAS, ISO27001, R

Information Security Consultant (CLAS, ISO27001, Risk) sought to work for a leading consultancy based in Teddington, Middlesex. This position can be based from home, covering clients across the UK.

Successful candidates will get the opportunity to provide information assurance consultancy to internal and external customers, with particular focus on information governance compliance for local government and health organisations and the ICT systems that support them.

Responsibilities
* Provide guidance to clients regarding risk management, and mitigation that meets both the clients and any external requirements. Specifically, at the time of writing, Public Services Network (PSN), Information Governance Toolkit (IGT) and GCloud Accreditation compliance.
* Assist in the identification and assistance winning of new and additional consultancy services
* Creation of new and enhancement of existing toolkits and processes to assist with risk
management and gap analysis
* Participate in the design / risk assessment / management regime of hosted solutions

Essential Skills Qualifications
* CESG CLAS consultant, ideally at Senior or Lead, or with sufficient experience to achieve Senior or Lead level - Auditor and/or Architect
* Project management skills
* ISO27001 - good working knowledge as a minimum
* Excellent interpersonal skills; able to communicate effectively at all levels, technical and managerial.
* Good understanding of technical ICT architectures, and preferably a technician / administrator background
* Good Risk Management skills, preferably to a HMG recognised standard
* Ability self-manage time and resource to cater for multiple simultaneous projects. This team is largely home / client based, so self-motivation essential.
* Must be a team player - our strength is our collective skill and knowledge.

Desirable Skills Qualifications
* Senior / Lead CLAS at Auditor and/or Architect role.
* ISO27001 lead auditor
