My client is looking for a forward thinking individual to complete a time sensitive Server upgrade project from start to finish.
This Project would suit a Project Manager or a individual looking to get into Project management.
You will be able to analyse the existing servers, communicating with internal members of staff to plan an upgrade from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008 for approx 390 Servers. With a user base of 3,500 individuals, 40% of business critical servers will need to be completed out of 9-5 business hours.
Additionally to this you will have the knowledge and experience to become hands on throughout the project including :
-Server builds and upgrades
-Replacing VMWare hosts
-Microsoft Patch updates on a Tuesday
PRINCE 2 Qualification would be advantageous.
