Internal Auditor - Corporate Treasury - London

As an Auditor within Corporate Treasury you will be working for a major multinational bank which provides banking and commercial finance. Head-quartered outside the UK, this bank’s London operation has seen an exciting period of growth, giving you the chance to work within a diverse and expanding audit team.

The company’s ongoing internal promotional programme has resulted in a space opening up in their internal audit team.

This position will give you the responsibility to coordinate the team in charge of leading internal audit from the planning to completion stage and developing the operational systems and assurance procedures. You will develop and carry out suitable actions to verify the effectiveness of the control procedures and risk management framework. It will be your responsibility to inform the Audit Committee of situational issues that might compromise objectivity and/or independence.

With oversight of projects that reach into every area of the business, the opportunity to build up a broad portfolio of varied experience will allow you to progress into various financial roles. Travel will be minimal with the main function of the role being carried out in the City.

Ideal candidates for this role would have previous experience of conducting internal audits within a financial institution. An MBA or professional certification (ACA/ACCA) is a plus.
Specific industry knowledge of either corporate or investment banking, fixed income products origination, sales and trading, equities sales, treasury products, asset management, and related Risk, Compliance, Technology and Operations would be beneficial.

Salary: Circa £55000 (negotiable) + excellent flexible bens
