Business Development Manager / Sales / Software Solutions OTE £50,000 - £100,000 Package

Based Bristol or home-based throughout the UK

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Sales / Business Development Manager will identify and target prospect customers and clients throughout the UK and win new business for the company's leading edge software solution accountancy package.

You will work with marketing to deliver lead-generation campaigns, develop presentation material and attend seminars, exhibitions, networking forums as required.

The role is primarily new business development but you will be able to leverage a number of current implementations and existing customer base to deliver increased sales and revenue streams for the business.

The Company

Our client is a European market-leading cloud based Accountancy Solutions provider, rapidly building up a customer base in the UK with its easy to configure and use accountancy software package. Their finance, project and business information system is totally web-based offering users immediate access to current information including financials and accounting, banking and cash management, invoicing, project, purchasing and customer and supplier activity.

The Person

The Sales / Business Development Manager will have previous experience of selling software solutions and/or high value services in a B2B environment, understanding how to target key stakeholders and decision-makers, dealing with people at all levels of a business.

No accountancy qualifications are necessary but you must be self-motivated and driven to succeed, an excellent communicator and knowledge of selling and implementing software solutions to industry and businesses is required.
