Head of Buying - Telco (Handsets & Networks)

Leading UK retailer is currently looking to expand their Technology team & are looking to recruit a Senior Telecoms consultant to project manage the launch and delivery of their mobile & broadband business.

The ideal candidate for this role will have exceptional experience from a Telco background with a proven track record to lead the proposition development and to shape and deliver the long-terms business strategy and goals of a business.

Your performance will be reviewed by achieving your financial KPI's & leading the internal governance and development of this new area to the business. You must enjoy the autonomy to make exclusive commercial and strategic decisions.

Your roles include -

* Develop short & medium term strategy for mobile phones and connectivity offer within our Technology assortment.
* Lead integration of mobile phones and broadband in their current Technology department.
* Involved with the marketing strategy in store and online.
* Effectively managing network and manufacturer relationships in order to define the product and tariff proposition.
* Influencing at a board level

To be successful you must be a-

* Head Of Buying, Commercial Manager or Consultant within the Telco industry; either from a retail, network, brand, or aggregator mobile background.
* Led strategy and Project manage teams and ideas to hit certain milestones
* Ability to lead and coach to deliver outstanding results as part of a team
* Excellent communication at all levels including influence at a director & board level

In return you will help launch the direction and success of a new and developing area within a UK high-street retailer.
