Nampak Ltd is a highly successful, £1B p.a. t/o, stock market listed packaging and industrial group. An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Sales Director with Nampak Plastics Europe which has 9 manufacturing sites in the UK, including one in Northern Ireland, with further imminent expansion. Employing 600 people the company is a market leader in the supply of plastic packaging for the food and drink industry. With a strong environmental agenda, the company has revolutionised the British milk bottle industry with its Infini range and is now entering an exciting new phase of development.
We are looking for a talented Sales Director who will play a key role in developing effective sales growth and market diversification strategies. You will provide leadership, coaching and direction to a team of External Sales, Customer Technical Support, Marketing and Quality personnel, and work closely with the Managing Director as part of the senior leadership team. Responsible for maintaining and developing sales approaching £130m p.a. through effective long term contract and exceptional relationship management, you will also formulate and implement new business development and innovation strategies which will underpin the strategic direction of the company and achieve key objectives on profitability and growth.
Highly self-motivated, execution oriented, engaging and passionate about results, candidates will ideally be qualified to degree level with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales and marketing strategies and achieving profitable sales growth. Your experience should include proven sales management or strategic key account management experience, gained within a high volume manufacturing, B2B business environment involving £multi-million customer contracts e.g. fmcg, packaging, raw materials etc.
