Head of Payroll

Eden Scott's client, an international financial services company, are looking to recruit a head of payroll to manage the European Payroll team and process. You will work closely with the global head of payroll to select vendors and ensure that they are preforming to the Service Level Agreement. You will also provide oversight for and manage the European payroll team to ensure that payroll is delivered timely and accurately.
You will be working to review, audit and test payroll process and strategy.

To be successful in the role candidates will require the following background and skills;

You will have a strong technical background in payroll including working knowledge of accounting and employment tax matters. You will have previously managed a team and been involved in projects that impact on payroll. It would be beneficial to have experience working with other European countries to understand the different regulations that each country has. You will have previous experience of designing and implementing controls in relation to a large payroll. As you will be dealing with several key directors of the business your will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
