Our client is the packaging division of a $1.5bn turnover business and is a market leader in design and manufacture of innovative injection moulded closures and dispensing systems. Within Europe, it has operations in the UK, France and Germany, has an enviable customer base across food, beverage, personal care, pharmaceutical/medical sectors and believes further growth is possible across all of these sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, sales focused individual with a proven track record in sales generation and business development to join an established and successful business.
Reporting to the European Sales Director and working within a pan-European team, your focus will be to identify and deliver new sales opportunities within the UK market.
You will develop an excellent understanding of your customers and their requirements, together with a good technical understanding of our products and our manufacturing and design capabilities. You will leverage this knowledge to propose solutions and win business.
Educated to a good level, applicants will be technically competent and be able to demonstrate experience and success in personally growing sales. Whilst experience in a similar industry is not essential, it is vital that you have an understanding of how to sell premium, ‘added value’ solutions.
You will be an enthusiastic, energetic individual with a passion for selling and will have the ability to get ‘a foot in the door’ and the tenacity to close sales efficiently. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
