The Role
The ERP / Software & Systems Sales Consultant ( Business Development Manager ) is responsible for the sales and business development activities for a wide range of Northern UK and Scottish based Customers & Prospects.
The role is primarily Business Development, targeting sales to a focused vertical base of new prospects, leveraging an even larger base of existing clients to do so. You will develop and deliver sales proposals to customers, using your consultative sales techniques to form long term business relationships with key decision makers. You will manage the sales process and implement plans to increase clients' usage of the company's software including training, consultancy, hardware / software upgrades and renewal.

Our client is the UK market leader in the supply of Integrated Dealer Management Systems for Agriculture, Horticulture, Groundcare, Construction, vehicle machinery dealerships, with over 500 existing users to reference around the UK and Ireland. The company is well reputed in its field with strong financial performance and a long term commitment to its software development programme and its commitment to existing and new industry sectors.
The Person
The successful ERP / Software & Systems Sales Consultant will have a track record of success selling management / business information / ERP / MRP / systems / software solutions into the UK B2B marketplace. You will have excellent Sales and Business Development skills including systems, solutions and consultative selling experience. Considerable travel within the North of the UK & Scotland is required and a full driving licence is essential.
