Lead Data Analyst/Data Scientist - Data Mining, Machine Learning, NLP, Big Data, Java
My client is an international, high profile, SEO software specialist, with offices in California and Berlin. For their Berlin headquarters, they are looking for a Lead Data Analyst/Data Scientist. The guideline salary package is EUR65,000- EUR90,000 + stock options. Other benefits negotiable.
Main responsibilities:
- "Hands on" Leadership of a team of 2 data scientists (growing to 6 in 3-4 months)
- Data Mining, NLP, Machine Learning, Statistics, Search & Big Data work
- Help grow the team over the next 3-6 months, hiring decisions, strategic planning
- Hands on work as a senior data analyst/data scientist
Main Requirements:
- 5+ years experience with Data Analysis, Data Mining, Machine Learning and/or NLP
- Programming experience with Java, PHP or Python
- PhD or Master Degree in Computer Science
- Leadership experience is a plus
- Fluent English (German is a big plus)
