Senior Technical Manager
East London - London
Our client an award winning House builder and Property developer is looking to recruit a permanent and good Technical Manager, to be their Senior Technical Manager to responsible to the Technical Director and to run a large high-end residential site of over 400 units through their Technical processes.
Job Purpose:
• To ensure information is produced, checked and distributed on programme to the correct quality and within budget to enable effective sub-contract procurement and build programme to be met.
Key Skills:
• Good technical knowledge of housing and apartment’s construction processes.
• Good architectural and layout design.
• A working knowledge of Building Regulations, Code for Sustainable Homes and other associated legislation connected to the building industry.
Main duties & responsibilities:
• Obtaining technical drawings to enable efficient site starts.
• Management of external consultants.
• Oversee Building Regulations approval, discharge of Planning Conditions and Code assessment.
• Respond to site queries and resolve construction problems
Skills required:
• ONC/ HNC in Building Studies
• Proficient in the use of CAD
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good and effective communication skills
