Head of Claims Service Delivery

Reporting to the UK Insurance Operations Director, this role will be a key member of the UK Insurance Delivery team and seen as a natural Deputy for the Operations Director. The role will also be seen as a figurehead in the London Market. The primary objective of this role is to run all UK Claims Operations within UK Insurance serving existing customers, products and services together with new UK opportunities as the sales pipeline is duly converted. The key purpose of the role is to provide efficient, effective, compliant service delivery in the Claims domain and demonstrate year on year improvement in performance in order to maximize productivity and profitability without compromising quality of service. Working closely with the UK Operations Director the role will require consistent focus on championing, refining and sharing operational best practice across the entire Claims business. The successful candidate will be a strong person, who is prepared to challenge and question, ideally someone who has moved through the ranks within the Claims/Operations environment. This excellent opportunity will suit someone ambitious who can handle lots of change and pressure. They must also be commercially minded and some sales experience would be highly advantageous. In addition, as the role will involve some cost cutting, tough cost management, working with off-shore teams and tough decision making, someone dynamic who is happy in that type of environment is required.
