ACA Senior Manager

A leading premium quality accounting, fund administration and investor reporting business together with a selection of consultancy services to real estate and private equity fund clients is looking to recruit a Senior Manager to oversee the Real Estate division. The Company operates in London, Luxembourg, Hong Kong and the Channel Islands with over 100 staff looking after $30bn of funds. Our client continues to expand rapidly and is now the largest independent administrator of real estate funds with an instantly recognisable client base.

This challenging position represents an exciting opportunity for a high calibre ACA to join the business at this stage of its evolution.

We are looking for a senior manager to assist the head of department to grow the business whose turnover has grown 50% in the last 2 years. This person will be responsible for running a large part of the UK real estate business and is likely to assist the head of department with group wide responsibilities around how work is delivered and the continued upscaling of the related infrastructure. Over the last eight years the turnover of this part of the business has grown from zero to £5m turnover. You will be responsible for overseeing the continuation of this growth and profitability of a significant part of this business but to also develop and mentor the team.
Achieving this growth and stability involves a heavy degree of client interaction and the promotion of client interaction within the business. The clients comprise a number of well-respected independent real estate fund managers with a variety of strategies, geographies and styles. The candidate will be expected to interface at a senior level with clients in order to problem solve and oversee the delivery of our clients services.

Technical Knowledge / Skills Required:
Direct experience of client service in a professional services firm
Strong technical skills in real estate accounting and experience with funds
Ability to work in a small company environment with focused and hardworking individuals
Ability to plan effectively, with strong deadline orientation
Strong client and staff communication skills
Experience in managing teams

Minimum Education / Qualifications:
You will hold a professional accounting qualification at an appropriate level (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
