As one of the fastest growing businesses in the region, we are currently looking for:-
a proactive global Business Development Manager to manage the identification, evaluation, recommendation and capture of value to assist in the growth of our Marine Installation Services & exploration and portfolios. One of the key aspects of the role will be the creation and maintenance of our strong business network as well as our relationship with our peer group companies. The candidate will also have experience and skills in gaining a superior knowledge of market activity and ensure access to strategic growth opportunities;
Educated to degree level in an appropriate discipline (e.g. Geology, Engineering, Economics, Finance, etc.), with excellent knowledge of marine infrastructure markets, with creativity and enthusiasm to identify and promote new growth opportunities. You will have an analytical ability and understanding the company and its markets and clients, as well as the capacity to deal with large volumes of information with the ability to work in a deadline driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
A strong commitment to share knowledge and engage others in the use and value of Competitive Intelligence
Key attributes for the role would be:
• Ability to identify and propose to senior management and the Board of Directors the business case for the pursuit of strategic growth opportunities and portfolio rationalisation • Manage multi-disciplined teams through screening, evaluation, offer, negotiation and transaction execution • Contribute to the development of the regional growth strategy and the business development elements of the Company’s Business Plan • Comply with corporate business development process and proactively identify and agree the necessary process improvements and implementation.
The role can be based outside of our main office in Bickland Cornwall, as a large period of time is expected to be taken up with international travel & client visits and meetings as the business dictates.
