My client is one of the leading UK-based financial services groups providing a comprehensive range of banking and financial services in the UK and globally.
An exciting period of transition prompts the need to recruit a high calibre Risk Manager to the Finance team.
Along with the usual qualities needed to succeed in this role you will have the passion and desire to bring new ideas to the business and lead from the front, influencing and changing perspectives as you go. The company has a proud history of continual improvement through the input and ideas of its staff, and this role will be no exception.
The main areas of responsibilities are:
• Work with the Business Units to ensure the policies developed are understood, relevant, adhered to and developed further by the Business Units where appropriate utilising appropriate and regular meeting forums
• Assume responsibility for tracking policy changes and their approval as they cascade down from the Bank and up from the Businesses, holding the evidence of sign off and final approved copies of all policies and procedures
• Assume responsibility for delivering any non-sanctioning Risk projects whether internally Division or Bank or externally Regulation generated
• excellent Knowledge of risk management, policy issues and divisional structure
Salary: £65-85000 + excellent benefits
