McGinnis Loy Associates are proud to be working with a highly renowned US listed IT Services company who are looking to recruit an experienced Pricing Manager and provide commercial/financial modelling expertise to support customers and internal management in UK-led commercial deals. Key duties include:

• Supporting the Sales & Bid Managers in providing commercial modelling expertise in the financial evaluation of bids.
• Developing commercially viable business cases taking into account key areas such as customer business requirements, future risks and opportunities, internal requirements etc
• Providing capability to model business scenarios that will deliver the optimal financial solution to both Senior Management and global customers
• Ensuring commercial models capture all relevant costs; calculate the profitability and cash flows across the service offerings
• Continually develop pricing and business models to meet market needs and which help deliver competitive advantage.
• Monitoring and reporting on risk levels within service contracts
• Producing “all risk” materials for senior management review & other internal meetings as required.
• Providing support to key stakeholders in the European and Corporate US offices to support accurate understanding of risk situations and risk reduction action plans.

To be considered for the position you should have solid experience in large commercial and/or public sector bids including business case analysis, able to understand client business needs, procurement requirements and marketplace trends and how they influence the pricing mix. Ideally a Qualified Accountant (or equivalent), you should be able to build P&L and Cash Flow models, work cross-functionally and understand business concepts and translate these into financial models.

Strong business acumen combined with creativity and a vision to meet both customer needs and local governance is critical, so being a persuasive, strong negotiator with empathy to internal/external requirements is key. You should also be comfortable dealing with customers face-to-face, and possess sufficient gravitas to work with senior management and directors

On offer is a base salary to £60,000 + £6,000 car allowance, 10-15% bonus and large corporate benefits including 25 days holiday, company pension scheme and healthcare schemes.
