Overview
The job holder will work with a range of stakeholders to collaboratively ensure that systems are designed and built to meet the defined business, functional, technical, performance and security requirements. The position will bring extensive coding knowledge and experience to the development lifecycle while playing a key role in the architectural design of solutions, during both solution design meetings and coding.
Programming Skills
The Developer will be expected to be highly knowledgeable and experienced in:
*Mandatory: Automated acceptance frameworks (preferably Jasmin)
*Up to 6 Years application / HTML5 development experience
*Must have: HTML5, CSS3, Javascript frameworks - ideally angular.js
*Minimum 2 years of HTML5 and JavaScript libraries. Strong UX awareness and UI design optimization
*Strong experience of working with GIS data and mapping applications
*Strong experience developing, designing & debugging web services connected applications CI/Jenkins
*Strong problem solving skills to identify root causes of issues and identify novel solutions to design challenges.
*Strong understanding of the latest features and development best practices, including features in upcoming SDKs, resource optimisation techniques etc
*Strong experience of implementing (App) security frameworks
*Experience of working with large projects, delivering specific products to required deadlines.
*Ability to capture user requirements and translate into needs and solutions.
*Ability to work alone or in a team environment
*JSON/XML ( Selenium )
*SSL/HTTPS Secure Apps is desirable
*Desirable: Cordova
*Developing & debugging web service connected apps (designing is only desirable)
*Agile/Scrum/Kanban
*Excellent Communication Skills
