Our client, a prestigious organisation to work for are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Analyst who will be responsible for supporting and maintaining an estate of Sun Sparc Servers running Solaris from V8 to V10 and a small estate of Red Hat Linux.
The successful candidate will be experienced in the following disciplines and technologies.
* Maintaining an estate of Sun Unix servers running mission critical customer applications and Red Hat Linux
* Configuring and planning of backup, archive and restore using tools such as Veritas Netbackup and EMC networker
* Systems Administration and documentation of Solaris 8, 9 and 10 systems
* Disaster recovery design, planning and testing
* Managing, implementing and testing SAN systems, SAN Migration, disk layout and configurations
* Solaris Boot environments
* Veritas Cluster Server V6.1
* Veritas Storage Foundation
* Knowledge of LDAP/VAS/QAS/Centrify, Flash Archive, ZFA, LDOMS
Knowledge of Oracle database management and support would be beneficial but not essential.
