Senior Manager Global Corporate Accounting
Edinburgh - Scotland
Eden Scott's client, an international financial services company, are looking to recruit a senior manager to manage a team that are responsible for Group EMEA and global corporate accounting.
Specific tasks include:
*Daily management of team of 5
*Control over month end for the general ledger
*Control over EMEA monthly P&L
*Systems testing
*Ongoing relationship with external auditors
*Report into the Director of General Accounting to aid with monthly reporting.
To be successful in the role candidates will require the following background and skills;
You will be a qualified accountant with experience of working in a multiple location company (ideally with a focus on UK and EMEA) and so multi-currency ledgers. You will have previous experience of leading, motivating and developing a team. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to present at board level. It is preferred that you have previous experience within a financial services firm but this is not essential.
