Internal Audit Manager - M4 corridor/South West

Role
Internal Audit is a dynamic, innovative and forward thinking audit, assurance and advisory function that plays a key role in assisting the Group to accomplish its objectives and improve operations. The team makes a significant contribution through a risk-based strategy that provides senior management with an independent, objective evaluation of the effectiveness of the Group's risk management, internal control and governance processes.
As an Internal Audit Manager you will be responsible for:
• Planning and conducting audits across the Group covering both financial and operational risk topics
• Evaluating the Group's system of internal control
• Providing robust challenge on internal control processes and developing recommendations to assist management improve the internal control environment
• Preparing high quality written reports for issue to management and being prepared to travel as and when required.
Qualifications and experience
As an Internal Audit Manager your skills and qualifications will include:
• Demonstrable and relevant post-qualification experience in practice or in a large plc business environment
• Professionally Qualified or MBA
• A willingness and ability to travel (up to 30%)
• Strong technical, analytical and PC skills
In addition:
• Enthusiasm for getting stuck in, rolling your sleeves up and running audits from end to end.
• Excited by the prospect of taking on project work alongside regular audit duties.
• The ability to be confident in decision making, but ask the right questions and not be afraid to ask for advice and support where necessary.
• Ability to influence and motivate, build quick effective relationships with stakeholders and be able to communicate well at all levels of the business.
• Real passion for A fast moving commercial goods business with the possibility of wanting a long term career within the wider teams/departments further down the line.
Salary: Circa £60000 (Neg) + excellent benefits + bonus + possible relocation package
