Head Of Credit Operations
Edinburgh - Scotland
Eden Scott's client, a unique private bank, are looking to recruit a Head of Credit Operations to lead a team of credit analyst who ensure that5 all credit facilities (and related securities) have been produced in line with internal policies and external regulation.
Reporting in to the COO you will provide a vital part of the bank in relation to all credit operations. This is a strategic role in which you will help with the growth of the bank, the recruitment, training and mentoring of the credit team.
You will also be required to represent Credit Operations on the relevant bank committees.
To be successful in the role candidates will require the following background and skills;
You will be an experienced credit professional (across retail, corporate, HNW or private banking) who has strong knowledge of external regulations (such as MCOB, CCA, CONC) and how they relate to a banking environment. It is preferred what you have previous experience managing teams and have excellent communication skills. Professional qualifications (including MCIBS) would be welcomed in this role. You will also be someone who is looking to help grow a business and so be happy with dealing with change.
