The Role
As Business Development Manager you will be expected to source new business within Time Critical Air Freight whilst targeting industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Oil & Gas and Aerospace. You will be handling the sales cycle from start to finish including qualifying their needs and suggesting the ideal result for them; as such you will have to be well versed in lead generation in order to be successful.

The Candidate
As the ideal candidate you will have a very strong and successful background within the Sea and Air Freight industry with a number of contacts in order to build your pipeline. You must be able to work autonomously and be able to manage your own schedule as this company is not looking to micromanage you or limit your development within the role. The Package
Upon starting within the role you will be offered between £40,000 as a basic salary, this will be open to negotiation depending on your experience within the industry. In addition to the basic salary it will be possible to earn upwards of £70,000 due to the competitive commission plan they have in place.
