Interim Programme Manager Warehouse Relocation
Southampton - South Central / Coast
UK based with frequent European travel
Our client is an International consultancy specialising in supply chain and distribution, working in collaboration with client teams to develop improved operations strategies, supply chain planning, and execution
The Role
Based at the client’s site in the south of England, to programme manage the closure of a number of client sites across Europe and transfer the physical stock to existing sites in the South of England and Belgium. The client is a world leading manufacturers of medical devices with major international clients and a developing on line offering
Key responsibilities
- Project manage transfer and reappropriation of stock
- Liaise with UK & Belgian Distribution Managers
- Liaise with Finance and IT software providers where required
- Liaise with all other stakeholders
- Run down stock as required
- Maximise efficient use of warehouse space
- Compliance with FDA standards (US Food and Drug Administration)
- Analyse and maximise warehouse space utilisation
The candidate
- Project management
- Change management
- DC operational management experience
- Experience of Red Prairie could be an advantage
