Technology Compliance Manager

Rate: £65K to £70K (Permanent) + Generous

To support a compliance strategy combining the requirements of both mobile and fixed operations, ensuring that existing security certifications and controls are maintained and new business requirements are met.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

• Maintain existing certifications including ISO 27001, CAS(T), ND1643, ISO 9001, SOX and relevant internal compliance requirements.
• Contribute to the design and deployment of new certification requirements.
• Support the delivery of a certification strategy to integrate and streamline existing certifications.
• Manage a control framework and facilitate required improvements to ensure effective control design and operation.
• Provide senior management with status reports on certification status and key control effectiveness.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience

• Significant knowledge and experience of implementing and assessing CAS(T) and ISO 27001 is required.
• Significant knowledge and experience of implementing and assessing any of the following - ND1643, ISO 9001, ISO 20000, SOX would be a distinct advantage.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills. This includes evidence of an ability to determine and re-assess priorities in line with changing circumstances.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders is a necessary skill.
• Must be able to think and act in the wider risk context rather than just “tick box” compliance.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• Professional certification to ISO 27001 lead auditor and/or ISO 27001 lead implementer is expected.
• A current CISM/CISSP/CISA/CGEIT or equivalent qualification would be an advantage.
