Qualifications
High level of creativity & flair, including demonstrable experience of strategic thinking, project & event management & successful media campaigns
Degree educated, with a CIPR qualification
Strong track record in managing PR/PA teams and delivering PR & PA strategies Demonstrable portfolio of achieving positive media coverage
Current knowledge of PR developments & trends
Experience of working for a high profile organisation in a senior PR position, demonstrating examples of both proactive & reactive PR activity
Experience of being the primary spokesperson for all media Excellent speech writing, written and oral communication skills, including demonstrable experience of engaging journalists in positive communication during crisis management situations An effective and pro-active leader with the confidence, tact & diplomacy to communicate at trustee/director level & on TV/radio.


Description
This role will be a maternity cover position for a fixed term for 12 months.
Purpose- To lead, develop and implement a sector leading PR and Public Affairs strategies to promote the clients work, support the achievement of the organisation’s objectives and create a positive corporate brand image and reputation.
