Corporate Finance Manager

McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a highly regarded Corporate Finance boutique who are looking to recruit a Corporate Finance Manager/Assistant Director to join their growing team in Berkshire. The firm has a strong reputation across the UK for providing services including M&A, Corporate Advisory, MBO/MBIs to a range of SME and multi-national clients. You will be required to prepare and analyse all financial aspects of potential deals including historical performance, financial forecasts, offer analysis, valuations, and financial modelling. Key duties include:

• Providing financial and commercial due diligence on buy/sell transactions and drafting reports (inc preparation of memorandums and business plans etc)
• Spreadsheet and financial modelling activities
• Following up leads of potential acquisition targets or buyers and related M&A analysis
• Liaising with clients, funders and intermediaries during the execution of transactions
• Preparing business plans and analysis for potential purchasers
• Assisting with management buy-in and buy-out assignments
• Handling a number of private equity transactions
• Managing a team of Corporate Finance Executives across the Region and reviewing their work
• Actively assisting in the promotion of the firms UK networking activities

To be considered for the role you should ideally be a fully qualified ACA or ACCA from a large Accountancy Firm, CF Boutique or Private Equity/Investment Banking group within their Corporate Finance function. You should be a high performer in the CF field with management of your own deals in a lead advisory role, have strong negotiation & analytical skills, business reporting and staff management skills.
