Director of Sales, Europe

London based - £120 base, £240K OTE

We are looking for dynamic Sales Director to lead and grow the UK based sales team for our pre IPO, high growth client in London. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will be selling the market leading cloud ERP applications built on the Salesforce1 Platform. The Sales Director will drive the expansion of sales efforts throughout Europe, ensuring alignment across all teams including R&D, Marketing, Consulting, Alliances, Support and Customer Success. You will oversee all aspects the European sales organisation, including the inside and pre-sales teams. For this role, you must have high growth start up experience, also SaaS financials, PSA, HCM and SCM and ideally experience with SFDC.

Responsibilities

* Lead and motivate a high performing sales team to meet/exceed monthly, quarterly and annual bookings targets
* Recruit, train and enable new account executives according to the business plan
* Mentor and develop sales team members
* Cultivate strong customer relationships
* Evolve and execute sales strategy to support rapid customer acquisition growth
* Collaborate with Sales Operations to continually improve processes and scalability
* Become an expert in articulating the value proposition for all applications
* Collaborate with Marketing to ensure required lead flow
* Assist Account Executives in prospect commercial negotiations
* Accurately forecast bookings on a monthly basis
* Drive business development activities with service and software partners, including Salesforce.com

Required skills / experience

* Proven track record of success driving consistent high bookings growth through direct sales teams
* Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop and rapidly grow high performing sales teams
* Experience selling Enterprise SaaS/Software applications across Europe
* Excellent presentation and listening skills
* Ability to thrive in fast paced, high growth work environments
* Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills
* Bachelor's degree in related field
* Experience with Salesforce.com solutions a big plus
