Finance Business Partner
City of London - London
You will also support the preparation and analysis of financial performance information, internal and external bench marking data and Activity Based Costing to inform and deliver Value for Money and strong financial and operational performance.
Additional responsibilities include:
*Deliver standard and ad hoc financial performance requirement
*Business performance analysis - KPI and financial performance analysis
*Hold regular meetings with direct reports, managing in order to coach and equip individuals with appropriate business knowledge and skills to perform their role.
*Drive financial performance improvement by transferring information into business insight
*Lead from a finance perspective on any new initiatives, acting as key contributor
*Forecast out turn bridge between current performance and forecast out turn
*Facilitate the budget setting process ensuring business managers are clear about their areas of accountability and responsibility.
*Conduct Internal and External Bench marking
Person Specification
You will be a fully qualified accountant or CFA or MBA
You will be an effective communicator at all levels (presentations and reports to Board, senior managers, external stakeholders), possess very strong financial modelling skills (Excel, Brixx, VBA, financial systems), and be adept in project management (delivering complex organisation-wide projects to a high quality within time and budget).
You will also possess good management skills, have the ability to influence others (challenge/support effectively) and have a strategic mindset.
Experience of working in housing association or the property market is desirable
