Regional Sales Leader

Our client, part of a major and diverse US owned industrial corporation, is a brand and market leading business in Europe which manufactures, markets and sells a full range of safety products for the home. Their firm commitment to strong profitable growth creates the need to strengthen their senior team via the appointment of a Regional Sales Leader whose focus will be upon markets in Scandinavia, Benelux, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Accountable to the UK based General Manager, you will have complete responsibility for the delivery of a regional product sales strategy covering northern European customers, including DIY chains and Electrical wholesalers, which serve retail customers and residential markets. You will work alongside Country Managers to design and deliver joint business plans, identify required products, produce medium term forecasts, specify resources and mentor / support local sales executives to achieve desired results.
You must have at least 8 years experience in selling consumer goods primarily to retailers and be prepared to travel extensively. Fluency in English is essential, with competence in German or Dutch a valuable additional asset.
