Senior Management Accountant/Business Partner - US

A FTSE 250 business is looking to recruit a Senior Commercial Management Accountant to act as a Business Partner across the US / Europe / Africa region. This position has arisen due to an acquisition and will be reporting to the Managing Director for the European / Africa region.

You will be responsible for providing senior financial support and insight to manage and support a new geographic area of operations for the business.

You must have the below experience:
Have experience working in a Group role with overseas finance teams,
Multi company and multi currency structure experience
Proven track record of working in reporting IFRS


Your key duties will include:
- Producing management accounts from transactional records for the new territories and reporting packs from local teams or partners in other regions,
- Ensure reporting compliant with IFRS,
- Provide monthly commentary for specific subsidiaries / companies,
- Provide complete financial support to the newly acquired business Managing Director,
- Business partnering to produce budgets and reforecasts and financial analysis to review new set up and commercial opportunities.

Project work:
The Group recently installed Dynamics AX accounting system last year in London and continues to optimise the system to gain maximum benefit. The Group is now rolling Dynamics AX out into global offices and the new territories.

It is there for an added benefit if you have had exposure to Dynamics AX.


To be considered for this position you will need to be able to demonstrate good commercial insight from working closely with operational management in addition to strong understanding of accounting principles and be familiar with overseas finance teams.

You will also be / have:
CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified,
Have experience working in a Group role with overseas finance teams,
Multi company and multi currency structure experience
Proven track record of working in reporting IFRS
