Warehouse General Manager

We are working with an associate agency who is in discussion with a food retailer in Canada who requires Warehouse General Managers.
We are interested in receiving CVs from General Managers who have experience of managing large retail, food composite multi temperature NDC, RDC or DC operations.
Responsible for the organisation and performance of the Distribution Centre the General Manager will establish budgets and strategic business plans.
You should have a minimum 10 years experience in a Supply Chain Leadership role in the grocery or retail sector and Multi-temperature grocery experience

Key Responsibilities

- Reporting to the Director of Operations, the General Manager is responsible for the operation and
performance of a 1 million sq ft Distribution Centre
- Customer Service, Human Resources, Information Technology, Office Support
- Finance, budgets and strategic business plans

Candidates
- Operational Logistics Management,
- Labour Relations experience, including collective bargaining
- Experience of continuous improvement.
- Hands-on and team-oriented management style
- Planning and organisational skills

- Must have similar experience in the UK
- Multi-temperature grocery experience is essential.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the grocery or retail sector.
- Degree educated
