Head of Quality & Safety

Our client is a highly successful, market leading and privately owned £200 million turnover company which designs, engineers, manufactures, markets, sells and supports a full range of safety-critical products and systems to serve blue chip customer needs in the global commercial and military aerospace and defence sectors. At this important time a clear need has been identified to address and correct some key short and longer term quality and safety issues via the creation of a new highly visible and influential senior executive role.

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, you will make a positive and important on-going contribution to the company's quality and product safety and performance and standing with major customers in the marketplace. Leading and developing a substantial team in the quality and safety functions, you will identify and address key areas for change and improvement; ensure clear direction and guidance and form effective, positive and cooperative working relationships at senior and other levels throughout the company and with customers and suppliers.

Ideally a graduate in an Engineering discipline with IQA Membership you must have substantial experience at senior management level in the quality and safety functions, preferably within a change orientated and successful manufacturing business serving global markets in the Aerospace & Defence industry.
