Founded over a decade ago the Group has established itself as an independent force in the energy sector. Initially focusing on the acquisition and turnaround of distressed power assets the group has completed and sold a number of projects whilst transitioning into the development of biomass plants for future sale. Recently the Group has established a partnership for gas turbines in the UK and has set its future strategic intent to focus on niche developments together with the development of larger gas assets.

In order to accommodate the growth of the business they are looking to recruit this key role, which works closely with the CEO, to manage all commercial aspects of the development and build of a series of gas fired peak power plant. The role will also support the CEO in all commercial aspects of the business from land acquisition through to EPC contracts. Key responsibilities will include the negotiation and delivery of property transactions including leases, land purchases and property purchases; providing commercial input into the design of tenders for EPC contracts; supporting the development director and CEO in the negotiation, documentation and delivery of power plant EPC and civil contracts and managing investor due diligence of EPC contracts and property transactions.

The successful candidate is likely to be a commercially astute lawyer experienced in the delivery of mechanical and electrical development projects. Additionally he/she will be technically capable with initiative, comfortable taking responsibility and willing to make the commitment necessary to deliver an aggressive development programme.
