Interim Marketing Director - One year contract

Our client is a prestigious academic institution based in Aberdeen city centre.

We are seeking candidates for an Interim Marketing Director role for a period of 12 months.

With overall responsibility for the marketing team you will lead the development and implementation of an effective promotional strategy for the organisation and continue the marketing and communications business plan.

*You will be a strong leader/manager with a focus on people on task

*Have an ability to stabilise the team and provide marketing leadership and direction in absence of Director;

*Have an ability to build confidence quickly with colleagues and academics

*Have an analytically driven approach to campaigns/strong digital understanding for reach/cost effectiveness

*Experienced in strong brand development and USP

*Educated to a good degree standard and preferably holding a professional marketing qualification, you will have up to date knowledge of consumer marketing practices, knowledge of CRM and high level marketing skills including digital/web/e-marketing.

*Your CV must demonstrate a minimum of four years previous marketing experience at a senior level covering strategy development, business planning, creativity, man management and campaign management.

*Ideally you will have Higher Education experience.

Salary negotiable - our client will consider an annual salary circa £60k-£80k or day rates.
