Project Technical Lead - Analytical Applications
Guildford - South East
Technical Lead - Analytical Applications - £500 per day - Initial 6 month contract
Our client are delivering a programme that intends to optimise their Commercial Investment. It will implement systems and business processes that use analytics to predict the areas of biggest impact in their investment to drive the biggest sales and profit.
As part of this programme they require a Technical lead, who must have experience of implementing similar systems and preferably in a global environment. Experience of agile development is also required.
Note that within our clients informational technology, there is a clear distinction between Analytics which drives predictive decision making and reporting which provides different views of data; it is the former that is most relevant.
Further specific responsibilities are:
*IT Project Management skills and experience in delivering new and upgraded applications into the business
*Experience with the full lifecycle of applications delivery from requirements identification, through testing and deployment.
*Stakeholder Management (communication, negotiation) and working effectively with the other team members, particularly the Global Deployment Lead and Programme Manager
*Applying governance using teh organisations existing methodologies. The successful candidate will also have experience of iterative and agile implementation methodology
*Driving suppliers for best value
*Writing and or overseeing the production of high quality project deliverables
*Working in an international environment for a global business
*The ability to travel is required, though we use conference calls and Telepresence as widely as possible
