Finance Manager
City of London - London
The Client
A leading property, construction and development business based in the City of London is looking to recruit a talented Senior Accountant. This is a global business, who have a prerequisite to hire ACA or ACCA qualified accountants.
The Role
Management Accounting + Reporting:
- Preparation of all management reports and analysis which includes planning, budgeting and forecasting, Variance analysis, reconciliations, departmental reporting,
- Identify and analyse forecasts vs plan against actuals, including commentary,
- Preparation of sales forecasts, period end adjustments including full analysis,
- Ensuring all data is analysed, recorded and reporting including the supply of financial information to department heads,
- Manage monthly management information reports (planning, forecasting, department reporting, operational reports),
- Ensuring that all management information / accounting documentation is up to date.
Financial (statutory) Accounting:
- Production of financial statistics / transactions with regard to earning, profits, cash balances and other financial results, ensuring they are compliant with accounting standards,
- External reporting of financial reports,
- Working with internal and external stakeholders,
- Ensure financial accounting documentation and procedures are up to date,
- Financial accounting and reporting compliance.
Process improvement:
- Involvement with continuous improvement initiatives for all financial and management accounting + reporting processes and systems.
To be considered for this role you with be a qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA) with 3 years plus experience in a finance and accounting role.
The Candidate
It is also desirable for you to have relevant work experience from within a property or infrastructure company.
