The company

A leading player in the distribution sector.

The role

You will need to be a dynamic, enthusiastic, inspirational and self-driven individual to join our client’s team. You will be responsible for delivering the region’s sales revenue and budgets via a team of Business Development Managers, Regional Account Managers and Indoor Account Managers, and by working with the Telesales Division.

You will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting against KPIs set for the region and producing accurate forecasts on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. With full leadership responsibility of the area’s sales team you will be managing recruitment, performance and individual plans. The ability to develop, motivate and coach your team is essential.

Customer Excellence is key to the role - you will be working with the Regional Team to ensure the best customer experience is in place, that will ensure clients will stay with you

The applicant

You will have experience working for one of the UK’s International freight / logistics providers in a similar Commercial Manager role.

Experienced in recruitment and managing a team, you will be a hands-on manager that leads by example.

With strong leadership skills you will have proven experience of leading commercial / sales teams in a highly competitive environment, selling on service rather than price.

You will be an excellent communicator with experience of forecasting and planning and you will be driven by KPIs, results and success.
