IT Service Manager

IT Service Manager - 6 Month contract

My client based in Kidlington are recruiting for a IT Service Manager for their large headquarters.

Purpose of the role:
In this role you will take on the ownership and delivery responsibility for a team of eight people who are accountable for the management of all IT delivered services across the organisation. Through the actions of the team you will manage all suppliers and internal resources to ensure the successful delivery of IT Service in line with set performance and budget expectations. You will also provide a decision making point of contact for all IT Services.

Duties and skills required:
- Comprehensive knowledge, understanding and experience of Service Management, the application of ITIL Best Practice and how IT applications and IT technologies affect business demands.
- Excellent communication skills and proven experience of managing staff.
- Comprehensive understanding of supplier management and the ability to draft, review and manage Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and Operational Level Agreements (OLA's).
