Tax and Finance Manager
Southend-On-Sea - East Anglia
Reed Finance are pleased to be working alongside a prestigious Southend based company who continue to perform as one of the market leaders in an increasingly competitive environment.
Due to business growth, they now require a new Tax and Finance Manager to support the business and sit within their corporate finance function -this function provides essential services and support to all business divisions. Moreover, it is an important project initiator and leader within the international network.
Reporting into Director level, duties and responsibilities include:
Ensure tax compliance for all entities within the Group including corporation tax, VAT and payroll taxes.
Coordinate and monitor tax advisors, review of tax returns and follow up of filings and in-time tax payments
Manage relationships with fiscal authorities
Supervise quarterly (tax) account reporting (for both actual close and forecast): Prepare and review quarterly and annual IFRS tax provision and deferred tax calculations and analysis including return to provision, valuation allowance, tax exposures, and impact of international transactions
Prepare statutory accounts (single company) for the UK based holding company based on IFRS
This role will suit an experienced, technically minded senior finance professional who is ready to grow their career within an exciting and dynamic organisation.
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with extensive tax experience within an international, challenging environment. In addition to this you will have strong project management and vast operational experience with the ability to communicate clearly across all areas of the business.
