EMEA Finance Projects Manager

McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a US-based International business who are a Global leader in their field. They are now seeking a highly experienced Finance Projects Manager who will be responsible for implementing various EMEA projects including Oracle system processes, GAAP variance projects, fixed asset analysis and cost standardisation assignments. Reporting to the EMEA Controller, key duties include:

• Working with Global Process Owners and supporting the EMEA regions with implementing Oracle statutory reporting for all countries (inc Germany, Netherlands, France, UK, Switzerland)

• Assessing and reporting on the differences between local country GAAP and US GAAP, liaising with the US HQ

• Understanding how Oracle works from an accounting and systems perspective

• Working with the EMEA fixed assets team to examine GAAP differences at the transactional level

• Assessing within the accruals process how major costs can be standardised across the business

To be considered for the role you should ideally be a degree-educated graduate, Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA Accountant with a mix of Shared Services and Finance Project experience. With strong technical accounting skills, US GAAP and Oracle experience, there will also be travel to the US & Europe on a quarterly basis (approx 1 week per quarter). From a UK/US multi-national corporate background, you should be used to working in a matrix team environment, be able to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external business partners and be able to make confident and informed decision making. On offer is a base salary to £70/75,000 + 20% bonus and other benefits to include 25 days holiday, company pension and healthcare schemes.
