Senior Mechanical Project Engineer
Luton - South East, Thames Valley, East Anglia
Senior Mechanical Project Engineer - Food and Beverage Industry - £40k - £50k per annum
A leading manufacturer of handling systems for the food and beverage industry has an opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to lead installation projects. Based from their Bedfordshire office, this role will involve regular travel to customer sites nationwide.
Duties:
Manage all stages of projects from order through planning, installation, commissioning to sign off
Liaise with customers and suppliers
Supervise onsite installation and commissioning
Provide technical support to the sales team
Approximately 25% / 75% office / site work
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Educated to HNC level or above in mechanical engineering or similar
Previous experience in a similar project engineering / management role
Experience of working within the food and beverage handling / packaging industry
Conveyor / machinery installation experience
AutoCAD experience
Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
Commercially aware
Willing to travel as required
