For Within AFEA and the Medical Europe business unit, Amcor Flexibles Winterbourne utilises sophisticated extrusion, coating, printing, laminating and specialist conversion technologies supplying a range of flexible packaging products to a prestigious, blue-chip, customer base.

Reporting to the General Manager and as a key contributor to the site senior management team and business strategy, you will deliver maximum efficiency and optimum production levels by continuing to drive operational excellence. Directly responsible for OHSE, production, engineering, warehouse & distribution, you will identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction, assisting the business in creating value, internally and externally. You will provide clear leadership and vision, inspiring, coaching and mentoring the operations team to exceed the challenging targets you set, ensuring excellent levels of customer service and product quality in line with Amcor’s “Perfect Service” and “Sustainable, Profitable Growth” agendas.

Leading, managing and motivating your team, you will drive a strategy, focused on continuous improvement, enabling the site to deliver targets for quality and “right first time”, meeting the changing requirements and expectations of the business, and customers. Highly customer focused, you will encourage innovation and creativity, supporting the business in meeting its challenging targets.

With a history of operational management success in a volume, progressive, complex, manufacturing environment, and with a proven talent for delivering tangible and impressive results through efficiency improvement, you will be well versed in driving and developing CI strategies through the use of World Class Manufacturing tools and techniques. Excellent team building and communication skills will be vital as you build strong, open relationships with your team, suppliers, customer and senior colleagues alike.
