My client is a high profile, acquisitive branded name within the Financial Services sector. Due to expansion, they are seeking to appoint either an existing Head of Audit or aspiring Senior Audit manager to work as part of the Senior Management team.
The successful candidate will directly affect and assist with strategy development across the audit function. At this stage, the selected candidate will need to be "hands on" and have excellent stakeholder management ability, and will be tasked with growing a dynamic function.
Experience in Audit, risk or compliance is also valued as well as candidates who can demonstrate that they have worked ideally growing, acquisitive financial services firms, and are used to the scale and different challenges that his can present.
High level communication and influencing skills are essential for this role. .
We seek an articulate professional with gravitas, who is experienced in the insurance/ Financial Services/broking field as a minimum. You will ideally be a qualified accountant or auditor (or exceptional QBE) and will be able to demonstrate a successful career history to date. This is a critical appointment at a senior level and the business is keen to attract the best.
Qualifications: ACA, CIMA, ACCA, MBA or equivalent
Salary: Circa £90000 + excellent benefits.
