Snr Group Internal Audit-Major Plc-Hertfordshire

My client are a global and very successful Group who due to an aggressive audit plan are currently seeking to strengthen their high profile audit team with the addition of a high flying internal auditors.

• Having full accountability for 5 to 6 financial and/or operational audit each from planning to reporting and follow up on agreed actions;
• Being actively involved in the change agenda by continually looking for ways to improve the audit function and contribute to/ help to deliver sustainable improvements to the department

You will have excellent business relationship management skills and be competent and happy liaising with senior stakeholders across the business.
You will be keen to add value across the organisation and will be keen to impress the senior management team with your ideas and tenacity for effecting change.

Candidate profile:
• Strong academic record;
• CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified Accountant or IIA qualified Auditor, ideally with 2 years post qualification experience;
• High level of business understanding and the ability to empathise with stakeholders and identify pragmatic solutions which address risks identified;
• Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to demonstrate credibility in dealings with stakeholders at all levels;
• Strong independent mind-set and the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment; and
• Candidates must be highly motivated and proactive, keen to take full ownership of their area of responsibility and focus on delivering results. The individual will also need excellent time and project management skills, demonstrating high levels of accuracy, thoroughness and reliability to deliver multiple audits.

Salary: £50-£65000 depending on experience
