Founded over a decade ago the Group has established itself as an independent force in the energy sector. Initially focusing on the acquisition and turnaround of distressed power assets the group has completed and sold a number of projects whilst transitioning into the development of biomass plants for future sale. Recently the Group has established a partnership for gas turbines in the UK and has set its future strategic intent to focus on niche developments together with the development of larger gas assets.

In order to accommodate the growth of the business they are looking to recruit this key role which will work within the Development Team to support the delivery of a portfolio of gas fired energy projects.

The Project Developer will be responsible for the feasibility and planning stages of embedded power plant development, ensuring each project is delivered on time and on budget whilst managing the programming and scheduling of the development process. They will also manage the procurement of subcontractors, technical consultants and equipment, undertaking site visits and coordinate site assessments with consultants. The ongoing success of the business will depend upon identifying and assessing new business opportunities for the company.
The successful candidate will ideally have a Degree in a relevant discipline allied to 3 years’ project development experience within the energy industry and experience of the planning and consenting for power plant development.
Initially based in South Wales future projects will be across the south of the country and the Project Developer must be prepared to travel as needed to the various sites.
