Internal Audit Manager - London.

Industry leading Insurance Consulting company requires a Internal Audit Manager to carry out audits on the groups businesses and offices as part of an audit timetable agreed with the Head of Internal Audit and the Plc audit committee.
To provide assurance on the design, establishment and operations of controls within the group
To liaise with and support existing compliance, risk management and audit functions

In this role you will carry out audits on the group’s businesses and follow up audit issues to ensure they have been adequately addressed by management.
Compliance & Risk Management

The Internal Audit Manager will assist with the reporting of incidents in accordance with agreed procedures to assist with the reporting of breaches of internal policies or regulatory or legal duties to senior management and relevant boards as appropriate

The chosen candidate will make recommendations to improve business processes and controls, contributing towards greater business efficiency
To help identify and evaluate key risks in conjunction with other senior management
To help embed a risk management culture within the business

You will conduct special projects as requested by the head of internal control or relevant board director and provide input and contribution to the risk assessment and audit planning process.

You will ideally have a proven track record in Internal Audit to Manager level within either a consultancy environment or within industry. Insurance knowledge is desirable as is a post degree qualification - e.g. ACA, ACCA, IIA etc.
