Employment Tax Manager / Reward Manager

McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a Top10 Accountancy Firm who are looking to recruit additional team members for their Employer Solutions Tax team in the Cambridge office. With an Employment Tax Manager and Reward Tax Manager available, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Developing opportunities within the existing broad ranging and dynamic client base, identifying new employment tax opportunities in the market place and understanding client expectations
• Assisting with the creation and implementation of tax efficient and commercially focused incentive structures for major UK and International corporations
• Dealing with private individuals, PE backed companies through to multi-national UK and US businesses
• Providing advice and support to clients in respect of issues associated with employees undertaking international assignments
• Proactively seeking out business development opportunities and participating in any new client pitch situations
• Ownership of the client relationship at the appropriate level in organisation’s, as well as external parties such as HMRC
• Managing client tax assignments that are sizable in scope and scale including payroll consulting (advisory and compliance) and/or share schemes
• Writing high quality tax reports and professionally presented documents to the standard required by senior managers, directors or partners
• Demonstrating an ability to analyse and interpret data, identifying business issues and applying technical knowledge appropriately
• Providing technical support to senior colleagues in their chosen area, recognising issues to manage technical risk
• Identifying and evaluating risk management issues, mitigating risk appropriately

To be considered for the role you should be an Employment Tax/Reward & Mobility specialist ideally with full ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA Qualification. Technical experience in the areas of social security planning, share schemes, incentive plans, facilitating employer and assignee compliance is required, therefore you should have a similar background from another Top Accounting firm or Outsourced Tax provider. There will be some travel across the region as part of the role, so being a car driver with a full & clean driving license is also required.
