Our client is a leading, major construction and infrastructure group
The role
Reporting to the Sector Supply Chain Director, to improve business delivery and performance by developing and managing relationships between the Construction sector and its supply chain.
Key responsibilities

- Manage and maintain formal trading agreements with preferred subcontractors and suppliers
- Manage the preferred supply chain early engagement programme
- Support the bid teams in the selection of subcontractors
- Ensure the supply chain members are fully competent
- Support the implementation of the pre-contract supply chain strategy by the project teams at delivery - phase.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships internally and externally
- Promote and protect the company’s reputation
- Maintain a Sector supply chain strategy that is aligned to, complements and enhances the Group supply chain strategy.
- Manage a Supply Chain Administrator.

Candidates
- Experience of main construction subcontractor selection and management
- Good communication and people skills and a will to succeed.
- Competency in Microsoft Excel is desirable.
- Comprehensive understanding of the construction sector supply chain and procurement process is essential
