Responsible for managing and overseeing all financial aspects of the EMEA division you will prepare, administer, and direct the control of the budget process and performance against budget, recommending corrective actions as needed
Job Description:
* The successful applicant will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial aspects of the EMEA Division, a rapidly growing Business Unit for a US based multi-national corporation.
* This position will work closely with corporate headquarters finance and business operations personnel in the USA to provide direct financial support for EMEA personnel.
* Specific responsibilities include the following:
* Prepare, administer, and direct the control of the budget process and performance against budget, recommending corrective actions as needed.
* Manage the activities of the financial analyst staff.
* Review and approve recommendations for financial planning and control including establishing and documenting adequate control procedures.
* Oversee bids and proposals in the EMEA Region including working with program managers and contracts personnel and ensuring compliance with transfer pricing regulations established by the Corporation.
* Ensure timely and accurate compliance with local tax laws and filing of tax returns as well as recommend ways to minimize tax through use of tax laws and regulations.
* Where appropriate, utilize internal specialists within the corporate tax department and external tax specialists to accomplish these tasks.
