The Role

The International Sales & Marketing Director will develop and manage the strategic and operational sales objectives and activities of the business, managing the team to deliver both UK and European revenue, margin and profitability targets.

Responsible for all commercial activity, you will identify and target potential customers in need of the company's chemical / industrial / B2B product and recycling service offerings, preparing and delivering sales forecasts and plans to meet budget, cost and volume targets, assuring adherence to regulatory and environmental legislation throughout European markets.

The International Sales & Marketing Director will report on / react to all activities regarding market and product developments, competitors, supplier base, commercial, environmental and legislative changes which may positively / negatively affect the progressive expansion of the business.

The Candidate

The successful International Sales & Marketing Director will be educated to degree level with substantial experience in sales and business development in European and international markets. Knowledge of the chemical engineering, environmental services, industrial chemicals and B2B sectors is important along with the experience of building relationships with distributors (and end user clients). You will need strong commercial, negotiation and communication skills, sales team management experience, preferably a second language and a delivery and results focussed approach.
